7:24 a.m. - Yesterday was another "fine day". For as bad as the early part of the week went, the later part of the week went according just to plan. We got the test done at school today, so now students have had a good amount of homework, quiz, and test grades. The game last night went fine. It wasn't great basketball, but they weren't great teams. I did get to see Dale Lanning get inducted into the AlWood Hall of Fame, and I got to talk with Bryan Brooks a little. He said he was going to start officiating next year, which is great news.
Today, the girls postseason starts. We have one game in Erie, and it shouldn't be much of a game. I think it will be the last time I get to work with Tony and Marcus, which is bittersweet. It's always incredible how long the basketball season seems to go but also how quickly it seems to go. I also got some good news yesterday to discover I'm working the ROWVA-Williamsfield Regional. That will be nice.
