Sunday, February 18

7:54 a.m. - Yesterday I went to Brooklyn's game at the Mercer County YMCA.  She scored a couple of baskets and had fun.  It was a little weird going by myself, but that's okay.  Amber is still having her get-a-way weekend in Florida, but she isn't having very good weather.  Apparently, it's pretty cold where she is at.  The rest of my day yesterday was at home trying to get some things done but also trying to stay off my foot.  It's feeling better.  I can now turn it in all directions without shooting pain, so the flexibility is getting better.  Yesterday I tried to do my stretching routine minus some of the stretches that take my heels in the air.  I also tried to do a little upper body strength training, and that went okay.  I also hopped in the inflatable hot tub downstairs, and that went okay without the foot swelling up.  I think I can do pretty much everything normal except run; that's what I need to stay away from.  I wonder if riding a bicycle might be okay, but I should probably wait on that a little while.

Today I will be going to visit my parents, and I'll make my way down to the casino at some point.  I think I might wait and go see them this afternoon/evening after the casino.  Bally's is having a give-a-way day today - well actually is a raffle, but one if the things being raffled is a solo stove, so I thought I would try to go down there and see if I could get lucky and win that.  It's not the big solo stove; in fact, I could buy one on my own for $234.00 online, but it might be nice to win one.  Plus, it would do me some good to get out of the house and walk around a little down there.
