6:51 a.m. - Today is Super Bowl. More importantly, today is a day off. Yesterday went great; we went and watched Brooklyn play basketball at the YMCA in Aledo, and she made her first basket! Then I came home and got ready to head to Erie High School for a girls regional game. It was a quarterfinal game, and it was expected to be lopsided. I worked with Marcus and Tony, and the game was indeed lopsided. Then the three of us went and had some truck stop pizza at the Hillsdale truck stop. And then Tony took me to Whitey's for some ice cream, which was awesome. He even worked on my foot after yesterday's game, and it's feeling a little better today.
Today we will relax, but we are also going to go have some lunch at Texas Roadhouse and hit the casino for a bit before coming home and watching the big game. I need to stop and the farm sometime too and get down some hay for mom's horses. I'll stop in for a visit too. I need to have a nice day today because this coming week is going to be a doozy.
I'm pulling for San Francisco in the big game. I'd like to see Brock Purdy beat the Chiefs and Mahomes and Kelcey and Swift. :)
