Tuesday, September 1

4:41 a.m. - The hot temps have officially arrived.  Yesterday morning wasn't too bad, but this morning is "Mexico hot".  The one time Amber and I traveled out of the country together to Mexico, I remember how just walking outside was that hot, humid, and sticky mess.  And this morning, the weather is that.  

Yesterday came and went without too much difficulty.  We got through the first day of 1:30 dismissal, and we were told that early dismissal will be the case all week long.  After school, I had a junior high volleyball match at Washington Junior High.  It was good for me to get a junior high volleyball match in before working a sophomore and varsity match today.  I'm picking up Mrs. Hasson at 4:00 p.m. at the Andalusia Bank, and they we are headed to Rock Island.  I really don't have a whole lot of varsity matches - maybe two?  

Last night I finished watching Season 3 of Ted Lasso, which was the last season, and at the time was believe to be the series finale.  The creators of the show really nailed the last episode.  It was an awesome wrap-up without being the happily ever after ending.  Richmond didn't "win it all", but the team had an awesome season all the same.  I think the show really captures how coaches and players can really form relationships that are love for each other.  And when that type of culture exists, it's amazing.  I had three teams in my career that had those types of seasons.

• send any IEP notices to Mrs. Saey
