5:00 a.m. - What the heck...how about going back to school today?  I mean it's only been six days away from school.  And yet, we are going to have a 1:30 dismissal today.  So basically, today is going to be a "back-to-school" day - a hot mess with students trying to get back into school mode again.  It's going to be hard.

Yesterday was okay.  I did get some additional work done on weed-wacking the ditches.  Amber got home from Florida, so I went to go get her prescriptions at HyVee.  I was supposed to meet Chase for lunch, but I couldn't reach him in time, so that got canceled.  I did some reading in my book, and then I had volleyball officiating at Alleman.  It was a long night, but we got through it.  I'm still not happy with how the left ankle is feeling, but I was pretty hard on it the past two days when trying to do the weed whacking, and I'm still recovering from trying to jog the trail at Loud Thunder on Sunday.  I hope it continues to get stronger.

And today....I don't know.  Try to welcome back the students and staff and then try to get some things done.  And then I have junior high volleyball at Edison.

Things to do for School

• get display project completed
• finalize placement of schools on district map
• periodically add to the RR group history report
• periodically check on mail at post office
• update attendance each week in SDS
• send any IEP notices to Mrs. Saey

OTHER THINGS

• get stuff together to send out insurance stuff for reimbursement
• mailed stuff out on 8/29/26 - expecting $2,500 back
• get money back!
• RV guy shows up Saturday
• get something scheduled to have camper fixed
• spray Creeping Charlie - sprayed edges of yard on 9/6 -- near pool, between landscaping and ditch, between fence and Bob's, outside of south fence.
• a hood light switch for the Ford
