5:22 a.m. - I didn't sleep well last night. Maybe that's because I was feeling a little sore from trying to run/jog at Loud Thunder yesterday. It was good for me, but it was hard. I just need to try to keep losing weight to get lighter.
Yesterday was positive. After soaking in the hot tub, I headed to Loud Thunder and tried to do some jogging on the trail between the ranger office and the horse corral campground. It was rough, but I got through it. Plus, it was tough on the legs and particularly my left ankle. Despite the ankle soreness, I worked on the yard when I got home. I did some weed whacking with the Stihl and got a lot done. I also jumped on the mower and mowed the back part of the south portion of the yard. Finally, I attempted to experiment with the 4-gallon sprayer that was Patrick's. I tried the new chemical I purchased and hope that it's effective against all the creeping Charlie in the yard. I had to learn a little how to use the thing, and it I was able to definitely use it for while. Now I am just waiting to see how effective it's going to be. After that effort, I headed to mom's to help her get some hay from Mary's.
One other thing I did yesterday was to take some pictures for the RV guy to see if I can get him here to work on the camper. I hope to hear back from him today regarding a specific date and time he can work on the slide wipers.
After getting back from mom and dad's, I watched college football. Notre Dame struggled in the first half, but they did beat Wisconsin at Lambeau Field - pulling away in the second half.
And today? I would like to get lunch with Chase. I have a softball match at Alleman. And Amber is returning from Florida today. I would also like to get in the hot tub again, and stretch, and get some sort of morning exercise. I think I'm also going to close up the camper - yesterday I had opened it up to let it air out. Forecast is calling for heat to return tomorrow followed by rain showers on Tuesday night. I also would like to do some additional weed whacking on the north south ditch.
