4:43 a.m. -  Rain, rain, it's been an entire week of clouds and periods of rain!  And then there was yesterday when the construction crews at the new building struck a gas line.  The students and staff were evacuated and that created a situation where power was cut off to the complex at the junior high/high school.  And that created a situation where the elementary buildings had no internet, which means we had no phones, and we had no video cameras.  So while we elementary folks remained in school and had a "regular day", it was anything but regular.  I sat outside to be a video camera and had a para sit outside on the east end of the building.  We communicated via cell phones at walkie-talkies, and the teachers punted and survived with students and instruction.  And then I had volleyball officiating in the evening, and the gyms were really hot.  It was a long, long day in a long, long week.

Today I'd like a simple day. 

Things to do for School

• get display project completed
• finalize placement of schools on district map
• periodically add to the RR group history report
• periodically check on mail at post office
• update attendance each week in SDS
• send any IEP notices to Mrs. Saey

OTHER THINGS

• get stuff together to send out insurance stuff for reimbursement
• mailed stuff out on 8/29/26 - expecting $2,500 back
• get money back!
• pay Modern Woodmen bills
• fix a hood light switch for the Ford
