6:30 a.m. - This weather is TERRIBLE. I can't wait any longer, so I'm going to fight these stupid cold March temperatures and get the camper out. I'm afraid if I don't do it today, I will have even more trouble getting it out before the first scheduled camping weekend which is April 5-6. In taking a peek at that weekend, if the weather forecast holds, the weekend is shaping up to be pretty good. Now I just have to figure out how to get there. I'll probably leave the camper hooked up to the truck today and try to let the ground dry out a bit. Maybe I can attempt to park it back beside the house tomorrow if there is a dry day today. The problem is that this weekend is Easter weekend, and there will be a lot going on, so I'm just going to dress warmly and give it a go today.
Yesterday was an okay day, but the weather dictated most of the day. It was just wet and cold and rainy. Amber and I went and did some errands and then venture over to the Isle casino. She won; I lost. That's not all that surprising. Then we came back home, and I was on the computer trying to figure out how to revise our summer camping get-a-way. I think I have it figured out. I just need to get something confirmed from an RV park in Minnesota, and then I'll be set again. Apparently Karrigan and Michael are going to be in Minnesota while we are there, so Amber wanted to see if we could be nearby for a couple of nights. I got it done. What's another hundred dollars in camping site fees along with a couple of extra days on the road. So we'll be leaving on July 5 and won't get back until July 20. I'm interested to see how that goes.
I'm supposed to have a softball game today. If we play, it will be very cold, but that's pretty much how the softball season has been so far anyway. Yesterday, by the way, we went to the Southwells. We took a chair to them, and I picked up and exercise bike for her. I'm not sure it's going to work out, but I'll give it a try. Maybe I can do that later today after we get the camper out.
Have I complained about the weather enough yet? I guess one other thing I did accomplish yesterday was to replant the two plants I wanted to work on. We received a plant for Christmas, and then I purchased a poinsettia for Christmas, and I'm working on keeping both them going, so they both needed to be transferred to a bigger pot. So I worked on that in the garage.
