6:50 a.m. - Yesterday wasn't a smooth Friday, but it was okay. We survived the English III sections with the presenter that was scheduled, but I didn't get as much scoring of assignments that I had hoped to accomplish. And then we got through the softball game at Kewanee, even though it appeared that we might be headed toward extra innings. Fortunately, United Township scored a bunch of runs in the top of the seventh, so we had a winner in regulation. And then I came home and watched a bunch of college basketball on television and fell to sleep on the couch.
Today I need to be productive. The weather should cooperate, so I might try to break out the mower and mow the grass. I also need to pick up a prescription I'd like to also get a hike in at Loud Thunder or perhaps Blackhawk State Park. I also would like to make an additional payment on the camper. Tonight we have to attend a fundraiser for the softball team...I'm going, but I'm not happy about it. I'd also like to watch Illinois play at 2:30 p.m. I think I can score papers tomorrow when the weather isn't as good.
