7:22 a.m. - Yesterday was a busy one...got a lot of little things accomplished. The biggest of the "little things" was getting reservations for all the stops out to Montana. We'll have four stops along the way in order to cut down on too much driving each day. The longest drive will be about seven hours; the shortest drive about four hours. I've got it all written down along with the expenses/budge spreadsheet. This is not going to be a cheap trip. I'm going to really have to stay on top of this and make sure we have enough finances to cover everything. I haven't even started thinking about cost of fuel yet. Yikes!
Yesterday, I also picked up some shopping things, and I stopped by my parents' house and helped mom a little. I also stopped by the school and did some schoolwork that needed to be done. It looks like my rosters for second semester shouldn't be too much different than first semester. Last night the Southwell children arrived, and I watched some college basketball - Iowa lost; Illinois won. Amber slept with the grandkids, and little Rosie sounds like she's got some kind of virus or RSV or something. Of course, that means Amber will be sick next week.
Today, I'm headed to Aledo for Uncle Bill's birthday party at Brookstone at 1 p.m. I probably will just head to West Central from there. It's back to officiating tonight, and it won't be very good basketball. It's a paycheck, though, and I do get to work with Jason and Tad.
