7:37 a.m. - No school...again...today. I'm not surprised because the roads still aren't good. Even the state highways still are mostly snow/ice packed. And while the morning temps today aren't as low, they are still low. I'm hopeful as temps warm up today, the salt on the roads will make a significant impact. I'm supposed to officiate tonight, but we'll see how that goes.
Yesterday was busy. The kids and dogs didn't leave until the afternoon. I did take Amber to the casino (No, we didn't win.) just to get out of the house. We also had prescriptions to get and some groceries to pick up in Milan, so we accomplished those things as well. It wasn't until after we had gotten home that we got the notice about no school. And now the forecast is suggesting 2-4 inches of snow Thursday night into Friday morning....good grief.
I think today I may try to get the remaining reservations completed for our summer vacation trip. I've got the reservations for the trip out; now I just need to figure out the route back - whether I want to just double back the same way or try a different route. The easiest way would be to double back the same way, so that's likely the strategy I'll take.
