7:37 a.m. - Yesterday I got the fan motor in the bathroom. That was a job that could have taken 10 minutes or 2 hours, and fortunately, it was about 20 minutes. The day started with me and Luke Jason spending a little time together while Gigi took the girls to Sunday School. Luke and I went outside a little and cleared the driveway of snow and put down some ice melt. Then I worked on that fan motor while he watched some television. Kenzie picked up the kids around 11 a.m., and then I just pretended I had woke up for the morning. I got in the hot tub, stretched, and went for a walk. Later in the day I went to Lowe's and picked up those u-shaped fluorescent light bulbs I needed for downstairs. After that we had some supper, and then I went and visited mom and dad and Mary and Kenny at Mary and Kenny's house. About 9 p.m. I arrived home and then was in bed by 11:00 p.m. It wasn't exactly the most exciting New Year's Eve, but it suited me well.
Today, I hope to have a similar day. I would like to watch a lot of college football, and I think we are going to Jack and Rhonda's and then the casino. I'm not sure when all that is happening. Maybe I can spend some time working on the summer vacation too.
