Thursday, Dec. 10

6:59 a.m. - First day flying solo at school today with out Mrs. Mitola.  I'm going to have to work on transitioning my "back room" back to my classroom.


Things to do for school

  • send message to parties about cheating - DONE
  • send message about reading one book for an entire semester - DONE
  • send info to 1st period about tardies - DONE
  • make lesson for Tuesday, Dec. 15 - sub day
  • revise Proenneke-Thoreau essay assignment - DONE
  • look over S.R.'s paper
  • enter Proenneki-Thoreau comparison scores
  • enter FRW scores 12-9
    • still need to check spreadsheet and update Google Classroom Scores ...then Lumen (tomorrow)
  • review F L's work on 19-20 e-learning - updated 12/10
  • send another check to IEA and check online roster
  • enter self-evaluation scores to Walden questions
    • first period is finished
  • Daily
    • add a Google Meets recording of the day's lesson and add to the day's stream
    • create the next day's agenda and schedule post to stream
    • add assignments/activities/resources to Google Classroom as needed
    • score assignments and record into Lumen as needed
    • respond to student/parent emails and update grades
    • TUES - schedule FRW assignment for Wed.

  • order a IGHSAU basketball officiating shirt
  • Dec. 11 at Muscatine 6 p.m. f/s girls
  • Dec. 15 - 8:00 a.m. dentist appointment
    • at DeWitt 7:30 v girls - CANCELLED
    • purchase items for colonoscopy
  • Dec. 17 - 7:30 p.m. at Assumption v girls
  • Dec. 22 - noon colonoscopy (prep on Dec. 21)
    • start prepping 8 p.m. on Dec. 21 - follow directions
    • COVID test on Dec. 19 - 6 a.m. - take order with me...
  • Jan. 8 - 8:30 a.m. Dr. Wang biopsy
    • Find out if insurance will cover procedure - I think it does
    • Find out if insurance will cover shingles vaccine - I think it does
  • Fix the green door.
  • Check gmail messages.
  • Have shin guards fixed somewhere?

Media is reporting that nationally the Thanksgiving surge is hitting, but it doesn't seem that way locally.  Usually, though, the Midwest seems to lag behind the coasts for some reason by a couple of weeks.  Maybe we can get to Christmas break before the new surge happens here.  The weather is still helping...suppose to be near 60 degrees today.
