Things that I NOW think about with the coronavirus. (12/14)
Vaccines are starting to go into arms in the U.S. today. So far, this vaccine seems to be like a flu vaccine in that according to the research, the vaccine helps lessen the severity of the symptoms. My understanding is that this vaccine doesn't kill the virus, and it doesn't prevent spreading of the virus. That news is good...fewer people will die; fewer people will be hospitalized. So this vaccine should really help our healthcare system. In terms of schools and absences, though, I wonder what is going to occur. Flu and colds and COVID 19 will have an impact on school attendance, and I wonder if/when sports will be returned to play in Illinois.

Holy Spirit...
Help me have...
a pure heart, that I may see;a humble heart, that I may hear;
a heart of love, that I may serve;
a heart of faith, that I may abide in the spirit.
