5:41 a.m. - One volleyball night down; three more to go this week. Tonight, though, will be an adventure. I'm at Rockridge and Ms. Peterson is going to be my partner because Braeden has class. All parties involved in the match know that two Rockridge teachers are going to officiate the volleyball match at Rockridge with Orion. The situation is definitely not ideal, but because of the shortage of officials, desperate times call for desperate measures.
Yesterday went pretty well. We got through the Khan Academy Digital SAT prep experience, and it went as I had hoped. I'm able to assign the prep activities like I'm able to assign the grammar course, which is really good news. And I'm able to see the scores and use those as grades in Lumen eventually. Many of the students definitely struggled with the content, which is a good thing.
Today we are going to share the Big Future research that was completed last week. I'm thinking I'm going to have the students share their received careers first and then there possible careers, but it may take less time if they just do both. I kind of like the idea of going up twice in front of the class, though. I'm going to have to think about that.
