6:20 a.m. - The moon was amazing this morning. The light was awesome going to the bathhouse - not near as dark as yesterday. And the air was cool and the winds were still...another great start. Yesterday went fine...yesterday's junior high girls basketball games went fine. I'm going to like that new free throw stuff. Resetting the team fouls after each period...that's good. Eliminating 1-on-1 free throws...also good. I can really see those two things helping speed up ugly games.
Today is get through the day and get to the campground for what should be a beautiful night. And then tomorrow I'm going to go on a little hike. I signed up for an event that is taking place at Loud Thunder. I'm not in shape for it at all, but every event needs a last place finisher, so I'll take on that role. I haven't done something like this in a very long time, so it will be good to be out among the crazy running folk, even if I won't be running.
I forgot to mention...American Leak Detection guy thinks he's got the pool leak solved. And we aren't going to have to fill in the pool or try to finance a new one. There is still work that needs to be done, but if it can't get done before winter, we can do it next spring. The return by the steps had a big crack in it, according to the technician, so he put some epoxy on it yesterday, and in thinks that will do the trick. That is a LOAD off of my mind...feeling very fortunate and blessed about that situation.

- If a student notices that their exam questions are getting easier rather than harder, they might think that they’re doing poorly on the exam and become more focused on how they’re performing than on doing their best. In general, the stress of not knowing how challenging the next part of the exam will be could increase test overall anxiety.
