7:19 a.m. - I've got a bad feeling about today. My mind was racing last night...dreams were all over the place and seemed so real. Then I went out outside and the pool motor was sounding strange. We are forecasted to get a lot of rain, so it doesn't make sense to spray weeds, and the lawns are too dry to really spend any time mowing. I think Amber has a couple of little items to complete, and I'd really like to watch the Bears play. I'd also like to read my book. This is a day that I really don't have a clear path forward. I think I will honestly go jump in the hot tub and see if I can start the day off relaxing and just get it started positively.
Yesterday was a bust. I went to Muscatine to try to help out with freshmen volleyball. I only was paid $150 for being there all day. I tried to make the best of it. I talked to people, I tried to help out a new official, and I read my book. Granted that the money is money I wouldn't have made if I hadn't gone, but that was ridiculous. It won't happen again.
