7:19 a.m. - I just learned that the Southwell grandchildren will be with us today, so I'm glad I got all those training path worksheets scored and entered yesterday. I watched basketball last night...that didn't go so well...my Gonzaga team was pounded by UConn. Now who to route for? I suppose I will be like everyone else and route for the Florida Atlantic Owls. For a team that previously had never won an NCAA tournament game, going to the Final Four is an awesome story.
There is still a lot of snow on the ground, but I'm not sure how much snow, if any, there was in Monmouth, so maybe we'll still get a game in tomorrow. After that, I'm supposed to be at A-Town, so maybe just maybe I'll get that game in too.
I'm not sure how today goes, but that's okay...there isn't anything to do outside; that's for sure. I've got my schoolwork done. I'm assuming we are not going to church. Maybe I should exercise a little this morning before the guests arrive.
11:48 a.m. update - The Southwell grandchildren arrived around 8 a.m. this morning. Right now, Gigi and Tucker went grocery shopping, so I'm home with a napping Rosalea - she's napping, and I'm standing guard ready to serve lunch when she wakes up. I didn't attend church service; I haven't yet exercised. It's mostly been little chores around the house and/or playing or reading with the kids. I did a little reading for myself, and I am listening to more episodes of my intermittent fasting guy. I'm also concentrating on drinking a lot of fluids...coffee, tea, water. I did include a little honey with one cup of coffee and one cup of tea, and I only had one cup of coffee with caffeine. Maybe later today I can somehow get in some exercise...I also have to figure out something for strength training....maybe I just need to pick three exercises...I could do bench press and dead lift and squats with military press. Maybe if I just stuck with those exercises for now and see how that goes. And maybe I focus on Monday, Wednesday, Friday...for those three lifts and record my progress/achievement. Then on other days, I try to do some type of cardio.
