7:46 a.m. - Yesterday I had a great visit with Chase. We went to a little Mexican restaurant in Moline for lunch, and then we went to Bally's and played some slots, then I took him to Antinella's pizza to where he works and dropped him off. He really likes the owner of the pizza place, and he's working Tuesday through Sunday from 3:30 to 9. I'm glad for him that he enjoys working there. We caught up on how things are going for each of us and just had a simple and nice afternoon.
After I dropped him off, I ordered a pizza and took it to my mom and dad for a little supper together. I ordered one of those Chicago style deep dish pizzas...did nothing for my efforts of losing weight, but it was something different to eat.
From there I came home and watched basketball - the team I picked to get to the championship game got beat, so that stung. Plus, now I owe Tucker $5. Geez.
I'm not sure what is in today's plan. I would like to get some exercise, but the weather is so cold and gray...not sure if that will happen. If it does, it will be inside. I know tonight we have that Rock-n-Roll bingo thing for the softball team ... mainly for Shawn.
I think I will read my book a little today too.
