6:10 a.m. - Yesterday....another rep...another cancelled softball game...time with grandchildren after school....watching basketball. The reps yesterday were really good...the rep that talks to students about apprenticeships brought with him a recent Rockridge grad who is a third year apprentice. It's always better to get this sort of perspective with the students. I did get a chance to watch some good basketball games last night...Gonzaga won somehow, which was nice to see.
Today, the only difference from yesterday is that I don't have a softball game scheduled. If I did, my guess would be it would be cancelled. The forecast is calling for snow showers tomorrow, so I'm guessing that double header I'm supposed to have at Alleman will not be played. I'm not a big fan of umpiring in snow. There have been a few occasions over my career of experiences where there has been snow flurries...not a fan at all.
I'm holding out hope about camping next weekend, but the forecast doesn't look great.
