6:29 a.m. - Yesterday Amber and I went to church service, and then we stopped at my parents' to visit a little while with them and Darren. Then we went back home, and I watched some basketball. After that, we took a drive to pick up the granddogs to dogsit for the afternoon, but before that we stopped back at my parents and paid a visit to the camper in storage to check on it. We couldn't turn anything on because the battery isn't hooked up, but with the flashlight apps on our phones it appeared that everything was okay...no visible damage of a any critters. After we got back home, I watched basketball all day and late into the night. There were some really good games. The granddaughters Brinley and Brooklyn are back on top in first place in the NCAA bracket pool at school. 47 brackets and their bracket is leading - so much for knowledge of basketball teams...just go with favorite mascots!
Today, we are back to school. Today, I'm also back to the softball diamond at Sherrard. The good news is that the temps will be warmer than all of last week. The bad news is that the temps will still be in the low 50's. I guess the first softball day had to get here sooner or later.
Today is also the start of our training path presenter series. I'm not in front of the students much at all, but it sure is a lot of work for me.
