12:59 p.m. - All that is good must end. I ended June very tired physically and mentally from the covid year of school and officiating/umpiring. I took July and half of August off. I'm not all that healed, but I'm working at it. I'm not all that crazy about returning to school, but first institute day is Wednesday. I'm not all that crazy about umpiring softball again starting this afternoon, but I'm scheduled, so I will go. We got back today from a camping weekend at Loud Thunder, and the weather couldn't have been better. I'm still too fat, and I'm tired today from not very good sleep, but at the campground we had a nice time. I finished a book, and I started looking at my volleyball officiating materials. Last night we even had the Harrison girls spend the night, and we survived. Carmen's first institute day is today, Cole left early this morning to move to Atlanta, and I haven't heard from Chase when I was hoping to this weekend...they are all on their paths, and that's the way it has to be. So summer is officially over, and that's okay...it was a an exhausting, exhilarating, busy, relaxing, adventure that I hoped it would be.
