5:42 a.m. - Yesterday included a glimpse into the two dual credit courses I'm facilitating. I had a chance to learn more about the speech course, and I worked to try to get access to the EN102 course. I'm still not sold on the value of these dual credit courses for students, but I'm trying to maintain a positive perspective.
Last night after school I ended up having no game. I'm a little bitter because I feel like I was cheated out of earning some money, but I'm also a little grateful because I didn't have to go to Morrison. So instead of officiating I rode with Amber out to the Harrisons. We spent a little time chit-chatting with Kenzie and the Luke, Brinley, and Brooklyn. Then it was back to Milan to pick up some prescriptions and also get a few groceries. After that it was a little supper and quiet night in front of the television and then off to sleep.
Today? I always like Wednesdays, but it's a gray day again today. Plus, this big storm we are supposed to get is going to be rain, not snow. I'm sure we need the moisture, but this weather has been very un-winter. I can imagine the workers and owners at SnowStar are starting to lose their patience. They sure aren't making any money.
Tonight? I'm open again, so no officiating as of right now. I've always been open for this date, though. I think Wednesday is open next week too.
