7:29 a.m. - As expected, last night was a long night at Prince of Peace. We did have a couple of guys talk with us, though, and tell us we did a good job, so that was nice. Plus, early in the game the Cal-Wheat coach stood and told his spectators to be better fans, so that was nice to see. Yesterday at school, we completed the documentary and got a start on the presentation project, so that was accomplished. I also finished reading my book.
Today we are off to Sterling, and it's supposed to snow. This evening we've got a birthday party to attend.

- work on research paper prompt
- Write an argument in which you select an historical figure you have encountered so far in English III or U.S. History that would prove to be an effective leader for the United States in 2023. In your argument include research of relevant background information of your selected individual, as well as her/his effective leadership traits (and if you believe those traits would translate to today's modern challenges).
