6:26 a.m. - Yesterday I almost got all of the scoring done on the assignment I was working on. I just have a few left to accomplish today. And then last night we got through a couple of girls games at Kewanee. I did get a chance to bump in to a former player. He was at Orion when I was there and now he's the school resource officer at Kewanee. He's a good guy, and it's great to see him in his current role.
Today should be a relatively quiet day. The students have a quiz, and then tonight Shawn, Marcus, and I are at United for United versus Ridgewood.
Right now, I'm just in the January routine....get up, get ready for the day, teach, officiate, go to sleep, repeat. That's okay. I know the January weather will end sometime, and the basketball season will end sometime, and the days will get longer, and before I know it, the yard will be mowed, the pool will need cleaned, the temps will warm up, and my attention will swing to other things.
I could use a little snow. I like the landscape to be something other than cloudy and brown, so a little snow might be a little picker-upper.
