Tuesday, Jan. 31

 5:43 a.m. - Yesterday was okay for a Monday.  The school day wasn't too bad; the officiating experience at Riverdale wasn't too bad...for a Monday.  According to the news weather guy today, the average coldest days of the year are behind us.  It's really cold today, but it was still good news to hear.  Today shouldn't be all that bad either, for a day after Monday.  :)  

Things to do for school

• enter 1-31 extra credit share points
• take care of straggling narrative authors' selections
• Friday, Feb. 3 - first check-in day for EN102
• print rubrics for scoresheets for presentations
• see if microphone is now working with camera
• work on research paper prompt
• Write an argument in which you select an historical figure you have encountered so far in English III or U.S. History that would prove to be an effective leader for the United States in 2023. In your argument include research of relevant background information of your selected individual, as well as her/his effective leadership traits (and if you believe those traits would translate to today's modern challenges).
