5:56 a.m. - Today is going to be the first long day of a first long week of a first long month of January.  At school we start the next unit; in the officiating world, we head to Bureau Valley for a girls basketball night.  Marcus and I are working with Tucker, so that will be fun at least.  And even though this is a long week, at least we have a three-day weekend to look forward to.

Things to do for school

• lesson plans are completed and scheduled on stream for 1-10 through 1-13
• work on research paper prompt
• Write an argument in which you select an historical figure you have encountered so far in English III or U.S. History that would prove to be an effective leader for the United States in 2023. In your argument include research of relevant background information of your selected individual, as well as her/his effective leadership traits (and if you believe those traits would translate to today's modern challenges).
• check that vocab words are done 1/10/23
• make lesson plan for Jan. 10
• send email to UTHS and Sherrard girls coaches
• make lesson plans for Jan. 12 and 13
• provide to M. Ernat
• finalize training path presenters schedule
• complete recommendation letter for C. Bush
• Tues., Jan. 17 - first day for EN102 students 7th period
• send check-in dates info for EN102 and SP101
• enter remaining scores for SAT PREP assignment after Friday end of day
• get information going for training path presenters
• start sending invites out to presenters
