7:56 a.m. - I didn't purchase my ticket in Maine, so I didn't win 1.3 billion dollars in the Mega Millions drawing. In fact the $20 I utilized to purchase numbers last night in Aledo didn't get me ANY numbers. I'm a big loser! Ugh.
Yesterday at school went fine with exception of the Speech class. That didn't go well for multiple reasons. I'll try to fix it this coming week.
Last night's games went fine. It was nice to officiate boys games again...not as many whistles...a little faster play with more flow and physicality. Today we have one game at Wharton Fieldhouse...probably my favorite basketball gym. And we have Rockridge, but they play Alleman, and Alleman isn't very good.
Later today the Harrison grandchildren will be spending the night. I'll have to have my A-game ready for them. They are awesome, so we'll have fun.
Wait...more news...yesterday I took advantage of a promotion at Bally's. I was sent a promotion email for a free hotel room and lunch buffet for tomorrow night. Of course I'll likely lose money on the slot machines, but I'll take a night at the hotel with a hot tub and exercise room! It will be a good chance for Amber and I to do something different in the middle of January.
11:25 update - So far this morning, I wrote out some bills and mailed them; made a deposit in the bank; filled up the HHR with gas; visited with Mom and Dad at the farm and had some coffee; helped mom get the Christmas tree downstairs closer to storage and got some hay bales from the loft in the barn; put the bed back together; put my clothes away including the new clothes I received from Amazon; got in a workout stretch; filled the birdfeeder...whew...got a lot of little things done.
