Saturday, January - Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad

6:59 a.m. - It's going to be a long day - 3 games of officiating in Wyoming and Farmington.  I'm not with my regular crew, but I'll still be with a couple of guys I'm familiar with, which is good.  Today is mom and dad's anniversary - at least I'm pretty sure.  Little Tucker is struggling with some kind of bug that is causing a high fever, and it has us a little worried.  Best guess so far is that it's something COVID related that sometimes shows up in little ones.  He's getting his blood drawn again today, and if results aren't good, he's going to need to go to the children's hospital in Peoria, so his condition can be closely monitored.  

Yesterday, school went fine, and last night we had an overtime game at Davenport Central.  Needless to say the home teams wasn't happy with the officiating because they lost.  Thus is the life of an official.
