6:11 a.m - Yesterday, I had conversations with all the Bizarri children, so that was nice.  Chase and I went to look at a car because his car isn't doing so well.  Carmen and Tyler visited for a bit.  Cole and I spoke on the phone.  In addition, I went over to the farm and visited with my Mom and Dad to wish them a happy anniversary.  Finally, I was able to rest the legs and watch another couple of good football games.  I didn't think it would be the Bengals and Rams in the Super Bowl, but that's how it shaped up.

This week's travel to officiate basketball games has only a couple of lengthy drives, so that's an improvement over the last few weeks.  I thought maybe I would get out of that trip to Amboy, but it looks like the big snowstorm that was forecasted last week is going to stay south of us, so I might end up making that trip after all.  

It's presentation day at school, which unfortunately means a lack-luster effort from most students.  I'll try to keep my positive vibes on the students who give a genuine effort and just try not to be too disappointed by the others.  I do need to make some decisions on the next step of coursework.  I need to figure out how I'm going to transition from our work with African slave contributions towards a research paper assignment.
