7:31 a.m. - Alabama is pretty dang good. I didn't even stay up to watch the whole game. Amber and I did enjoy a quiet evening. Today the sun is going to be out all day, which will be refreshing and energizing. Tonight I have one game at DeWitt, so I get to be on a basketball court, which is good.

Things that I NOW think about with the coronavirus. (1/12)
- ILLINOIS PREVIOUS DAY
- hospitalizations - 740
Beginning Friday, some Illinois regions will be easing restrictions just a little. The numbers are going down, and the Governor indicated that the decision is based on the numbers. I know many folks are critical of the Governor's decisions, but at least there was a plan based on data, and he has followed that plan. I don't know if this new development will get sports and extra-curriculars back to the schools, but starting to ease restrictions gets us closer. I have a feeling the IHSA will soon come out with a decision to cancel the basketball seasons and still try to get in what would have been the fall seasons this Spring.

Holy Spirit...
Help me have...
a pure heart, that I may see;a humble heart, that I may hear;
a heart of love, that I may serve;
a heart of faith, that I may abide in the spirit.
