7:27 a.m. Yesterday worked out pretty well.  Chase, Carmen, and Cole visited yesterday; I got all my schoolwork done; I got in a little exercise; and the Bears didn't get completely blown out in their playoff game.  I did stay up a little too late watching the Illini toss a game into the loss column, but I was also helping Carmen with her resume, so that's okay I guess.  Today is back to work, but we are working on a three day weekend, and the officiating load is reasonable, so that's okay.  I hope today goes fast.  The House of Representatives will likely be pushing more for the removal of President Trump from office one way or another, so that will be the top headlines.  

Things to do for school

• plan for return on January 6 - 
• Khan SAT prep
• Indigenous American Unit/African Slave Unit
• determine weakness areas in Khan Grammar Tests (after Jan. 13 when tests cannot be completed)
• usage and style and conventions
• review and enter participation grades for 1-11 blog entries

• Daily
• edit today's agenda on the Stream with recorded class session
• create the next day's agenda and schedule post to stream - for Jan. 11
• add assignments/activities/resources to Google Classroom as needed - for Jan. 11
• score assignments and record into Lumen as needed
• respond to student/parent emails and update grades
• TUES - schedule FRW assignment for Wed.

Things I Could Do or Need to Do In the Future

• Jan. 12 - DeWitt vs. Central 9th grade girls - 6 p.m.
• Jan. 13 - Take HHR back to Slayden's 
• Get 2020 officiating report for taxes
• Listen to Google Tribe podcast
• Listen to IF podcasts
• order a IGHSAU basketball officiating shirt
• fix the green door.
• Check gmail messages.
• Have shin guards fixed somewhere?

Things that I NOW think about with the coronavirus. (1/11)

The numbers continue steady or decreasing trends in the state and here locally.  This is much different than the reports for national statistics.  I find myself wondering why.  Here in the Midwest are we just adhering to CDC guidelines better?
