8:28 a.m. - President Trump released a tape message calling for a peaceful transition of power and that anyone who participated in the breach of the capital be punished. It's now Saturday morning, so this is the third day since the event. And now the argument begins on whether or not President Trump should resign or the 25th Amendment should be invoked, or he should be impeached. Wednesday night I saw Senator Lyndsey Graham deliver an appropriate speech on the senate floor to count him out and this was over. Last night he was back on FoxNews as defiant as ever. This morning I was watching MSNBC, and reportedly President Trump was watching the chaos from the White House. I'm not sure how accurate and credible that video footage was, but he was no doubt watching from somewhere. In summary, he's going to get away with this event too. If you thought 2020 was a long year, I'm afraid 2021 is going to be even longer. We not only are going to be dealing with the pandemic; we are going to be dealing with Trumpism because there aren't enough people that are willing to defeat it.
