Friday, August 14

5:10 a.m. - Today is the day that students arrive for the first day.  (Hopefully another last first day.)  And we are as ready for a first day as we can.  There will be things that pop up today, but that's normal.

Most students will walk right in while others will be hesitant and some moms and possibly dads will also have emotions.  

Yesterday was a district day, and I went to a SPED training and then to the district welcome and luncheon.  Then I was just lazy when I got home and read my book.

Today...survive the day, and stay dry!  We have yet another morning of storms and rain.  It's never fun starting a first day with indoor recess to begin.  Mother Nature, though, will have her way, so we will do our best.   

Things to do for Schools

• get display project completed
• finalize placement of schools on district map
• periodically add to the RR group history report
• periodically check on mail at post office
• update attendance each week in SDS
• send any IEP notices to Mrs. Saey
