5:23 a.m. - Yesterday was another busy weekend day. I could use an extra day just that have a relaxing weekend day. Things I accomplished yesterday included putting up the outside lights, putting all the Xmas storage stuff away, mailing out a couple of bills, replacing the electrical outlet cover by the pool motor, spraying the weeds in the landscaping by the pool with round-up, spreading weed preventer in the same spot, spreading the weed and feed on the yard, removing the dead flower stems from the flower bed, plucking the meat off the rotisserie chicken Amber purchased, going for a walk....probably a couple other things I'm not remembering too. I did get to watch the Bears beat the Vikings, and I did get into the hot tub in the evening, and I did get to eat some of the chicken noodle soup that Amber made. I guess I also got to bed early, which is good.
Today begins a full week of school as we get nearer the Thanksgiving break. It's going to be a long week, as basketball officiating gets busier this week too. I don't have a game tonight, though. My opener starts tomorrow night. I think I will go to the Mercer County YMCA after school and get in a little workout before watching Luke's basketball practice. I do have one more formal classroom observation to complete, which is today. I'd like to get that all finished by the end of the week and be done with those for first semester.
