5:13 a.m. - Yesterday, was too long of a day for a Tuesday.  I tried to get a lot done, and I did get some things done.  On the other hand, a couple of students consumed a lot of my time.  That's just part of the job.  After school, I headed home and tried to make contact with Chase; unfortunately, my efforts didn't produce positive results.  The car is back; he is gone.  I don't know where he is...it sucks.  Drug abuse really is painful for more people than just the person on the substances; it leads to so many problems and difficulties.  That's all I want to say about that right now.  I can hope for a miracle to turn him around, but that's about all I can do - hope (and worry and feel horrible that I couldn't do more.)

Today will be another nice weather day.  I'm not sure what problems will surface, but like most days, something will surface.
