4:34 a.m. - Yesterday was a day to get things done. I did get an estimate for the Eagle, but the estimate was more than my budget will be able to handle. Maybe the visit to our house gave the rep the false impression that I have more money than I have. I went online and found the seals that were part of the job, and on Amazon, all the materials are about $100, but the cost on the estimate was over $400. Then the labor charge was over $400. The roof project was also much more than I had envisioned. I don't mind someone making a profit for their efforts, but too much is just too much. So, I'll see what I can do myself, or I'll see if I can find another vendor that isn't as high. I had to drop the HHR off at Slayeden's last night...I hope that work doesn't cost too much.
Today is going to be a busy day. It's a "meeting day", which is never a day I look forward to. I'll get through it, though.
