7:29 a.m. - I was able to sleep better last night...probably because it's Saturday and probably because I can take a break from all the things I need get completed at ICE. Yesterday got really warm in the building, so the early dismissal was welcomed. Just another day at ICE...work through a student who didn't want to go to school, observe expectation stations, spray some wasps, clean up some vomit, work through a staff health issue, talk with a parent that can't seem to ever be satisfied, deal with another staff issue...just another day at a K,1,2 elementary. After school, I went and got my other two pair of pants at Monster Sewing, and I picked up a couple of steaks at Meatheads, along with some potato salad and baked beans. The Harrison grandchildren arrived for a couple of hours, and then I turned in for a good night's sleep.
So on to today. I'd like to get a good workout in, and I may go over to the school and try it there and then go to Aledo to use the elliptical. I also would like to get the yard mowed, but that could wait until tomorrow if needed. Finally, Amber told me that we may have some swimmers here, so I need to do a little work on the pool.
