5:50 a.m. - It's another heat day today. I was surprised about yesterday, and I am surprised about today. Yesterday, I went to the Aledo YMCA to get in a cardio workout, and I think today Amber may join me in a workout.
Yesterday, we received a lot of rain...again. I probably have said it before, but I'm really tired of all the rain. Prior to all the rain, Amber and I went to Bally's, had lunch, and played slots - unfortunately no big winning. While there, my mom and dad attempted to reach me by phone, and eventually I spoke with dad. I learned that Chase had arrived at their house and needed assistance. I picked him up and brought him home for a few hours; he asked that I give him a ride to a house in Davenport, and I did. Unfortunately, that situation did last well, as he sent me a message to let me know that. I then went to pick him up and brought him back home. I'm not sure what is next for Chase, but some divine intervention might help.
I'm not sure what will be happening today.
The weather forecast is looking cooler and drier for the rest of the week - that's welcomed news. It would be nice to do some camping this weekend and take advantage of the weather. I'll have to think on that.
