5:42 a.m. - Yesterday started as a lazy day, and that was nice.  The yard work was finished, so and the weather was cloudy with occasional sprinkles, so for the most part I just stayed inside and read my book in the recliner.  I did take a little break and went outside to work on my bicycle a bit, and I think I have it where I want.  Since Amber was scheduled to work at Shivers, I decided to take a drive down to Fort Madison and visit the Hoenigs and take them their souvenirs from our trip.  It was fun to get a couple hours to play with Caleb, and I picked up some Happy Joe's pizza for all of us for supper.  After the visit I stopped at the Catfish Bend casino and played a bit, and then I got home just about the same time as Amber returned from work.

Today it's back to work.  I would really like to get back to a workout routine like I was doing before vacation, and I think I'll try.  

One other thing I did yesterday was check my trailer tires, and I'm convinced I need to get some new tires for the trailer.
