Sunday, July 13

5:20 a.m. - Yesterday was a flurry of trying to get things done.  I had a list of things to complete prior to today's departure for vacation.  I'm not honestly sure I can remember everything I did.  I filled up with fuel, and worked on the yard and the pool.  I even had a good effort of spraying weeds.  There will be things on the list that I needed to wait until today, so I still need to make sure I do that.  I was so busy yesterday trying to get things done, that Amber and I went to a wedding reception about 5 p.m., and after we got back, I finished the weed spraying job.  

So today we are headed to Green Bay, Wisconsin.  It's about five hours on Mapquest, so it will take us longer than that.  I'm interested to see what the difference is on a long drive with the Ford and diesel fuel.  I'll be recording mileage and fuel stops in order to get an estimate on fuel mileage for trips.  I have an extra storage tank of fuel in the bed of the truck, and I'm interested to see what the impact of that is.  Adventure awaits...hoping for a smooth trip with good weather.

  • get new kindergarten (Bragg) assigned
  • August 11 - camera meeting
  • send message to Kristin Tucker after Strauss is hired
  • July 23 for one-room school alumni gathering
  • order mulch for flagpole
  • order more brown mulch for front of school
  • order more mulch for playground

OTHER THINGS

  • if not received, call hospital about EOB for surgery
  • send out Northwestern Mutual bills
  • August 4 - WCOA banquet - Park Place - Macomb - 5:30 p.m.
  • get Darlington Camping Trip Dates figured out
  • Take Dockers to Monster Sewing?
  • get bicycle fixed - pick it up
  • send EOB stuff from surgery for refund
  • spray weeds
  • a hood light switch for the Ford
  • July 6 - Caleb's birthday party in Monmouth - Pizza Hut - 5 p.m. 
  • July 13-18 - Summer Camping Trip to Mackinac Island
  • July 29 - 1:25 p.m. Moline Post Op Appointment with Hussein in Moline 
  • July 29 - bus refresher course 5 p.m.
  • Aug. 17 - volleyball clinic at UTHS 8:30 a.m.
