11:20 a.m. - The morning has been about grandparent stuff...at one point, all three of the toddlers were here - Brinley, Brooklyn, and Tucker. I did manage to get the outside lights hung, so that was good. I'm thinking a little stretch and light lift and then a little ski walk exercise is in my future before the Notre Dame football game comes on. Then I think I'm going to set up Santa's workshop and start wrapping gifts. Last night, I worked a varsity girls basketball game, and I met my new partners that I'm scheduled with for at least a few games. Mark and Brian both care a lot about officiating and getting calls right, so we'll get along just fine. Being on the court and being in sports was definitely something that felt good. That was the first time officiating 3-man mechanics since last February. We have another game coming up on Tuesday at Assumption.
