Friday, November 27

11:13 p.m.  Yesterday, Thanksgiving was nice.  I dropped off some mashed potatoes and a bottle of egg nog at my parents, and Amber and I traveled to her parents for lunch for her immediate family.  Later in the day we drove over the new bridge and lost some money playing slots at the casino.  We then came home and watched the Hallmark Channel.  I did get a little exercise in, as I took my own turkey trot jog around town.

Today, I got a few little things completed around the house, and then I went for a little nordic ski walk.  Then I pretty much parked my butt on the recliner - watched Illini win a close basketball game; watched the Irish win a good football game; and then watched some more Hallmark Channel with Carmen and Cole.  Amber and I and Carmen and Cole worked on some turkey day leftovers and Cole beat me in a couple of games of chess.

I think tomorrow, I'll spend some time with mom and dad and then get back home to work on some schoolwork.  It's been a nice Thanksgiving break so far.
