4:53 a.m. - Yesterday was a long day. It was my first day of driving Amber's bus route. Driving the bus route now adds an hour to the beginning of my day and an hour to the end of my day. Now I'm going to plan on getting to IC Elementary by 6 a.m. to get ready for the day, and I'll get back to IC Elementary by about 4:30 p.m. I thought that maybe I would just leave the bus there, but I don't think that's going to work. I think on days that I need to have my car and drive somewhere I'll just have to drive the bus back to the high school and get my car.
After the school and bus day, I drove out to the campground and gave myself a little quiet time in the camper with some chicken from Kwik Shop, some episodes of MASH on meTV, and a little peace. Just being in the campground with other folks having a campfire was welcomed space. I'm glad I enjoyed it because the weekend camping chance looks like it's going to be all rain according to the forecast. Yuck.
Today isn't going to be fun. Two paras are going to be gone, and it's an MC planning day. The paras in the building have had many, many absences this Fall. Retiring will be nice, so that I don't have to be concerned about absences and substitutes. And then to end the day, I have a basketball game. I haven't been exercising very much, so let's see how this goes tonight.
