4:39 a.m. - Just keep swimming. My life is not going to be fun for the next few days, and my ideal camping weekend won't be ideal. Sometimes, that's just the way it happens. Tonight I have volleyball after today is the Quad City Storm game for second graders. Then tomorrow, mom needs another load of hay put in the loft in the barn, and I was able to secure Colin to help me with that, so that will be tomorrow's after school activity - a school day that will feature multiple substitutes. Then on Saturday morning I have three volleyball games at East Moline Christian. I would just like to get to Saturday afternoon at the campground with as few of problems as possible. Like I said...just keep swimming.
Yesterday was an okay day with some accomplishments at school - completed the student council meeting with the new group, and I completed a teacher observation, and I sat through an IEP meeting. Then after school I took the camper to Loud Thunder, where I had a lot of struggles getting the camper set up and leveled, and even at the end I'm not happy with it, but I did my best. So maybe the best thing about this weekend's camping weekend is going to be the weather. I'll just have to do my best.
