6:00 a.m. - I'm a little tired this morning. Last night I had a varsity-f/s night of softball, and it's been awhile since I worked like that. The back and the legs are a little tired and stiff, so I think I'll take a jump in the hot tub this morning and see if I can loosen those old muscles up a bit.
Yesterday went okay during the day, and the games went okay. I don't prefer to work Rockridge games, and I had a couple of calls that were close ones, but that's fine. After the games, I took the camper to Mr. Strachan's ranch on Turkey Hollow Road, as the yard next to my house is still soft. I would have tried to fight the soft ground if we had decided not to go camping this weekend, but since we are going to take the Eagle out again this weekend, it will be at Shawn's place for only a couple of days.
Today will be the first Free Read Wednesday in awhile, and I've got games at Monmouth-Roseville. The two teams have a combined record of 0-9, so I guess somebody is going to get a win.
The weather forecast is improving. The rains that were forecasted to arrive tomorrow are going to stay mostly to the east of us. That means, that my yard may get a chance to dry out because the weekend forecast is looking great. I have to help my mom out at her saddle club's trivia night on Saturday night; otherwise, I'd be at the West Lake Campground all weekend long. Not sure that I will get in a campfire on Saturday night, but I will get one in on Friday night.
