6:47 a.m. - It's official; no school today or tomorrow. Apparently there may be school on Friday - again at a 1:30 dismissal, but I have a doctor's appointment anyway. I have a Thursday night volleyball game scheduled, but who know if that will happen? I think I'll check with that A.D. today.
Yesterday by about 10:00 my classroom started to heat up, and then by noon, it was pretty much unbearable....just sweat and sticking to everything. So needless to say the pool got some use again yesterday afternoon. (I'm sure it will get some use today as well.) After the pool time, Amber and I went to Rhythm City to join Jack, Rhonda, and Adam, as they had gone to supper before going to the casino. And my casino efforts were going nowhere until we were just about ready to leave. I sat at this old simple slot machine just to try my luck...in the end I ended up with over 600 free games! Of course the payout wasn't very good on those 600 free games, but it was still pretty exciting and fun to play that many free games. I'll never have that happen again.
Today, Chase may be coming with his friend to swim in the pool. I think my mom may be also coming as well, perhaps with Mary. No activities again tonight, so I'm not sure what the evening will bring. I do have some classwork I could do, so I may work on that a little. I also would like to do some strength training and get some exercises...maybe some swim time.
