6:44 a.m. - I was able to get everything fit into yesterday.  The school day went fine and all the students in attendance made a trip to the library and grabbed a book.  I met with the junior high principal about ideas for the new writing teachers.  I got the camper set up at Loud Thunder.  I went to mom and dad's and we got the hay loaded in the barn with help from a couple of the Gorham boys.  I then went to Shawn's and grabbed some firewood, returned home to have a little supper and chat with Amber, and then went back to the camper to spend the night.  The weather was perfect, the moon was full, the silence was awesome.  I watched some Green Acres and Hogan's Heroes and then went to bed.

I got up around 5:30 to a perfect morning.  The temps were cool...actually ran the fireplace heater in the camper a little.  I made a cup of coffee and watched some news.  Then it was a drive home and watch the sunrise.  I made it home to take the garbage to the curb, and now I'm getting read for the day - a day that is a Tropical Thursday!  

It's going to be a busy day at school with SAT writing pre-assessment and individual conferences with students.  And then it's off to Prophetstown to officiate volleyball.  And then hopefully, it's back to the campground for a quiet night.  A friend of mine might be there, and I'm hoping he's got a campfire going...may be some campfire conversation, a cold beverage, and then another quiet night in the camper.  One of these days, I'll be retired and won't have to worry about going to school!  For now, it's okay.
