6:24 a.m. - I just spent an hour entering scores and sending feedback to students.  All they had to do was give an effort on Khan Academy SAT Prep diagnostic quizzes.  It appeared to be about 50/50 on that.  I guess life is about learning that lack of effort and/or poor time management results in consequences.  This is the type of thing that makes retirement look sweet - no longer having to deal with students who just don't or won't give their best effort.  On a brighter front, I got some tasks done yesterday after school - picked up the new glasses, dropped off my umpiring stuff at the dry cleaners, had my chair repaired...and all in a pretty quick manner to make it back to the house and see 5-of-the-6 grandchildren.  I didn't get to see Chase like I had hoped, which was a bummer.  Today it's school and then a junior high volleyball match at John Deere Middle School.  This is not much fun, but it should be earlier getting home than a high school match.  Amber is working at Shiver's, so I'll be picking up some supper somewhere.

• get better system of electricity outlet to the trailer on the east side of the garage

• get pricing from Jason Martin for work on the house
