6:46 a.m. - The Rockridge football team beat Newman in a big win last night. Kourtney, Tucker, and Rosie were here, and the weather wasn't the greatest, so we didn't go. That win had to be a great confidence booster. This morning's weather isn't so good. It will be a good day to get some exercise, but probably not a good day to mow or do some yard work. I do need to fill the gas tank of the truck with gas. An old friend is coming over sometime this evening...with the pandemic, at least a couple of years have gone by. I've already set out some steaks for supper. Maybe I'll make some mashed potatoes too. I think tomorrow night, we might be trying to get together with some friends too, but I'm waiting to hear back on that one. I need to score some essays, but I'm mentally not prepared to do that right now. I'm also needing to figure out some lesson plans for next week, but that will have to wait too. For now, it's Saturday morning, and I just want to relax.
